In short, we manage your proposal submission at every stage. We cannot guarantee it, but we shall make every effort to ensure you are offered a publishing contract.
We represent academics, activists and researchers to university and college publishers in North America and overseas. We handle monographs, textbooks, edited collections, as well as serious non-fiction. Works in the social sciences and humanities are our strong suit, especially in such areas as gender, media, labour, environmental and development studies.
We charge on a fee-for-service basis only, and do not take any share of royalties.
A key part of our service is to "hone the pitch", to provide critical input on proposals, shaping them so that they have maximum impact with individual editors and committees.

Stage One. First, we provide a free, no obligation, assessment of your draft proposal. We'll offer advice on your proposal, commenting on its substance, presentation and marketability. You can then choose whether you want us to work with you on polishing up and improving the proposal, (Stage Two), alternatively simply use our services to submit to publishers (Stage Three), or do both- which, of course, we highly recommend as being most effective in terms of time, labour and results.
Stage Two consists of refining the proposal and redrafting where necessary in full consultation with you. The fee for this service is $ 450.00. You can then choose whether to proceed to:
Stage Three, at which time we submit your refined proposal to publishers. This is done in full consultation with you. We follow up accordingly, reporting back to you. The fee for this service is also $ 450.00
Our basic fee for the full service (stages Two and Three) is therefore $ 900.00 paid in two instalments. This covers up to six submissions.
